For Consignment

How do I consign with Housewives Treasures?

It's really simple!  Hop on over to our Sell with Us page and the steps are easily laid out.  We make it as hassle-free as possible.  

What are the fees?

Our commission split is charged after marketplaces fees*. Commission is based on the individual value of each item.

  • For items sold for $500 and below, HT charges a 50% commission.
  • For items sold for $501-$1000 HT charges a 40% commission.
  • For items sold for $1001-$2500 HT charges a 30% commission.
  • For items sold for $2501+ HT charges a 20% commission.

*Marketplace fess can vary from 4% to 20% of selling price.

When do I get paid?

Payments are sent out once a month. You will receive payment on the 15th of each month for every sale occurred on the month before.

Do you accept returns on the items sold?

Most of our sales are final. You can rest assured we will try our best to get your pieces sold fast, for the best price, and no returns!

Do you accept non-authentic items?

No. We ONLY sell authentic products. We have tools to authenticate the products. If you are not sure about the items, you have you can submit photos/videos before shipping the items. We can try to validate virtually.

For how long do you keep my items?

Our consignment window is 6-12 months. After 6 months you may request to return your items. After 12 months, you may also request to return items not sold. Or, they may be dropped off for donation.To return on your items, please place your request via email. You will be responsible for the shipping, or you may pick them at no charge at our Fort Lauderdale, FL location.

Do you offer free shipping? 

Yes!  Free Shipping within the USA for orders over $150.

What does shipping cost?

We ship with USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days)
Flat Fee of $7.95

Do you ship outside the US? 

 International Shipping not available at the moment.

When will my order be shipped?

All orders are shipped within 2 business days.

Will I be able to track my order?

Yes, an email with the tracking code will be sent once we’ve packed and shipped your order. Please note that all delivery dates are estimated and actual delivery times may vary or be subject to change.

Can I change my shipping address after I place the order?

Yes! As long as your order hasn’t shipped, we can make any changes to the order that you need!  Send us a message with the new address and your order number.

Returns questions

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Housewives Treasures!

We gladly accept eligible returns for a STORE CREDIT. No credit card refunds will be issued. No exchanges are offered at this time. You are welcome to return an item(s) within 10 days of receipt.

Returns must be in their original packaging, with all tags on and not worn. Every item shipped is inspected by a staff member to ensure quality control. Please use care when trying on the garment for fit. Body lotion, heavy perfume, and jewelry can cause the garment to become soiled or damaged and therefore cannot be returned.

  • All Sale items are Final Sale and cannot be returned
  • Shipping and handling fees are not refundable
What can NOT be returned?

Please note the following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift Card Purchases are not refundable
  • Panties Sold Separately cannot be returned
  • Hosiery such as Thigh Highs and Stockings cannot be returned
  • Swimwear as like bikinis, one piece bathing suits and bottoms cannot be returned
  • Shape wear items cannot be returned
How do I get a store credit?
  • You must first initiate a return.
  • To initiate a return please contact us to request your label.
  • The cost of the Pre-Paid Return Label is $7.95 and it will be deducted from the total amount of your Store Credit.
  • For your convenience, you can use the same package your order came in with.
  • You can also choose to bring your package to the post office and buy your own label.
  • Make sure to request our return address and use a shipping service with tracking information.

Please allow up to 5 business days to process your return. We'll process your Store Credit and e-mail you the code. Store Credit is valid for a full 1 year.
